Salsa Performance, History and Dance Soirée (Mosaic Week Preview)

Join us for the first Mosaic Week preview event: a night of Salsa, history and dance! This is open to anyone who is interested in the rich culture of Latin music and looking to dance; no experience required. Open bar and chilled hors d'oeuvres served for the duration of the event. Don't have a partner? Email us and we can find you a partner, help you feel as confident as possible and enjoy the evening. The performance will be a demonstration of traditional and modern salsa dancing. Heather and Andrew, your instructors/performers, will also teach the group one or two of the patterns they danced in their performance. After the show they will talk about the history of the dance and go into more detail about the style of the music, its origins, etc. Heather and Andrew will dance with everyone and be there to answer questions.
