Details
- Kellogg's San Francisco Immersion Quarter, a dynamic program for students interested in venture capital and entrepreneurship, and
- Kellogg's Zell Fellows Program, an experiential program providing mentoring, resources and community for students starting their own ventures or taking the ETA path.
San Francisco Immersion Quarter
Launched in 2016, this immersive program provides Kellogg students the opportunity to live in the Bay Area while taking courses taught by Kellogg faculty and completing a part-time internship at a growth-stage startup or venture capital firm.Eligibility
Please be aware that there are strict prerequisites for admission into the program.
- Students in the 2Y, 1Y, MMM, Evening & Weekend Program, and JD/MBA (2nd year) who have completed all core classes are eligible.
- You must have completed FINC 431: Finance II or FINC 440: Accelerated Corporate Finance
- For consideration for an internship with a VC firm, you must also have completed FINC 445: Entrepreneurial Finance and Venture Capital
- You cannot be committed to a Global Exchange in Winter 2020
- 3.0 average or above
- 750 bid points will be charged
Zell Fellows Program
This program combines coaching and mentoring, experiential learning, business services, and community to give aspiring entrepreneurs the tools and resources necessary to succeed. There are 3 venture tracks of the program -- Consumer & Enterprise, for students aspiring to launch a business in the B2B or B2C space, Healthcare, to address the unique regulatory, R&D, intellectual property, strategic partnerships, and other challenges that these startups face, and Emerging Markets & Social Impact, to help students starting ventures located in developing economies or ventures with social and/or environmental impact. The fourth track of the program, Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition, is for students approaching entrepreneurship through acquiring and/or growing a business.Eligibility
- You must be available all Wednesdays during the academic year beginning October 30.
- The program is open to all Kellogg full-time second-year, 1Y, MMM, JDMBA, MDMBA or Evening & Weekend student who can be available for all of the activities.
