Details
Pinch Provisions, is a women- and family-owned and operated business that was founded by Jamie, her sister, and their mother. Pinch Provisions innovative products were met with instant success in the U.S. market, and has products available in over 3,000 independent boutiques and major retailers nationwide including Sephora, J. Crew, Nordstrom, and The Container Store.
After achieving success in the domestic market, the demand for Pinch Provisions overseas grew considerably. The company adopted a phased approach to global expansion, starting with Canada, Europe, and Australia. In 2015, Pinch Provisions was one of the grant recipients of Metro Chicago Exports' inaugural Grant Program. Their grant covered a portion of the costs associated with product and packaging compliance in the European Union and Australia.
As a result of their efforts to export overseas, Pinch Provisions was able to expand its reach as a market leader beyond the United States, diversify its customer base, and satisfy the demand of its global fanbase. Today, Pinch personal care kits are available Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and France.
The Entrepreneur-in-Residence Program provides Kellogg students with the opportunity to receive guidance from and network with entrepreneurs, angel investors, and venture capitalists. Students may register for a 30-minute appointment with the EIR through Campus Groups.
