Details

Scott Mandell is the Founder and CEO of Schiller Park, IL based Enjoy Life Foods, a company dedicated to developing, producing, and marketing great tasting gluten free and allergy friendly food products since 2001. Scott is a visionary, as he saw the growing need for foods that cater to people with food sensitivities far ahead of current trends. Scott is a hands-on leader who remains extremely involved in all aspects of the business and in ensuring that Enjoy Life stays true to its brand promise and company mission.
In February 2015, Enjoy Life Foods was sold to Mondelez International, a $34 billion multinational food company. Despite being a wholly owned subsidiary of Mondelez, Scott has remained in his position as CEO of Enjoy Life Foods. Prior to Enjoy Life Foods, Scott was a Vice President in commercial lending at American National Bank in Chicago (currently JP Morgan Chase) from 1993 – 2001. Scott earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University (Bloomington) in 1993 with a major in History and a minor in Business. In December 2001, he earned his MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University with concentrations in the areas of Entrepreneurship & Innovation, Finance, and Management & Strategy. Scott was inducted into the Chicago Area Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame in 2006, was named to the Crain's Chicago Business "40 Under 40" list in 2008, was the Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE) honoree at its Chicago Gala in 2014, and has been named a Finalist for the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year┬« award in 2015.
