*Steve Kim's Bio

Mr. Kim advises companies both domestically and internationally on regulatory and government, international trade and ?nancing and general corporate issues. Kim currently serves as general counsel and senior vice president for two international companies where he leads and directs the organizations' legal, regulatory, international government relations and global business development activities.

In June 2015, Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner appointed Kim to serve as a Commissioner for the Illinois Human Rights Commission. The Illinois Human Rights Commission is a quasi-judicial administrative agency charged with enforcing the Illinois Human Rights Act, which is the State's primary vehicle for the redress of Civil Rights violations committed against Illinois citizens.

Kim previously served as Vice President of Government and Public Affairs at Time Warner Cable and Director of External Affairs at AT&T Illinois.Prior to his work in the private sector, Kim was Special Assistant to former Governor Jim Edgar where he advised on international trade, economic development and Asian Affairs issues. Kim also served as International Trade Specialist at the Illinois Department of Commerce and Community Affairs, and as Director of Export and International Trade for the Illinois State Chamber of Commerce. Kim serves on the United States Department of States Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC) and on the steering committee for Basra, Iraq.

Mr. Kim was selected as the running mate for Illinois State Treasurer Dan Rutherford in the 2014 Governor of Illinois Campaign to run as Lieutenant Governor. Mr. Kim was chairman of Illinois State Treasurer Dan Rutherford's Performance Audit Committee and served as the Treasurer's Business Advisor. Mr. Kim serves on Senator Mark Kirk's Small Business Advisory Board and is also chairman of Senator Kirk's Asian American Advisory Board.
