Join us for a three-day Makeathon on April 28th-30th at the new Kellogg Global Hub! Work with other makers in one of Northwestern's most exciting and innovative spaces for the experience of a lifetime.

Borrowing from an Israeli organization, TOM (Tikkun Olam Makers), the TOM MaKeathon brings Makers (engineers, designers, innovators and problem solvers) together with Need-Knowers (people with a deep understanding of a specific disability challenge, either due to personal life experience or professional choices) to develop extremely affordable solutions for real-life challenges. The products will be designed and built in a 3-day marathon, but will impact the lives of people who need help for years to come!

The 72 hour event will take place at Kellogg's new Global Hub at Northwestern University between Friday, April 28th-Sunday, April 30th. We will meet at 9:00AM and finish with a closing ceremony at 5:00PM on the last day (April 30th). In addition, a Makers Pre-Event will be held on Wednesday, April 12th -- this is where you'll choose your team and begin planning for the challenge. Mark your calendars!
