Workshop: Cultivating Resilience in Family Business (Gaia Marchisio)

Life can bring ups, downs, and unexpected turns in any given moment. Business families know this very well, as they have to deal with everyday events, positive and negative, which affect both the family and the enterprise. To survive and thrive in spite of the challenges, it is crucial to be able to build resilience. Gaia Marchisio will be leading a workshop to help students explore in a creative and interactive process, what allows Next Gen Leaders to be great sponsors for resilience in their family enterprises. The workshop will provide participants with practical tips that will help them discover the key dimensions they need to cultivate and achieve multifaceted excellence in a family business.

Gaia Marchisio is the Executive Director of the Cox Family Enterprise Center where she studies, educates, and assists entrepreneurial families and their advisers. Her background in family enterprise started with her family's business where she was raised as a 4th generation successor. She has also studied family enterprises as an academic and has over twenty years of experience working globally with enterprising families.
