Bootcamp #2 - Networking: Building Your Personal Brand

Join CMC Coaches, Joseph Patton and Silvia Bajo, and English Language Consultant Tami Wysocki-Niimi to learn the ins and outs of networking and specifically networking as a Kellogg MBA. We will cover 3 important aspects of this nuanced activity:

1. How to craft your story…your “pitch”, both the 30 second quick version and the longer 2 minute pitch that is used in coffee chats and interviews. You will become familiar with the different situations in which you will use your pitch and be able to adapt. (9-10am or 1:30-2:30pm)

2. Understanding why networking is important – identifying contacts, prep for networking conversations and identifying the type of networking opportunities available at Kellogg. And importantly understanding the intersection of your natural traits and networking style so that you can identify the best approach to networking for you. (10-11am or 2:30-3:30pm)

3. Tami will spend the final hour specifically focused on International students in regard to tips for preparing for presentations and networking and writing effective emails for networking.          (11-12:00 or 3:30-4:30)
