Schools have largely looked the same for the last 100 years. America's inability to innovate in education has led to a skills gap between the students who graduate and the 21st Century jobs that are available. In an effort to address this, companies and nonprofits are working to disrupt the factory schooling model and to create a new model that better fits the needs of today's learners and their future employers.

Join a panel discussion with three innovators in the education space:
• Ben Boer, Deputy Director, Advance Illinois (Advance Illinois is a nonpartisan education advocacy organization)
• John Lausas, Kellogg EMBA and Senior Vice President of Strategic Sourcing & Distribution, Follett Education (Follett is one of the largest educational content companies)
• Chris Shaw, Kellogg Student & Founder of Sidekick (Sidekick is a start-up EdTech company that builds an AI assistant for real-world project-based learning)

Dinner will be provided.
