Effective leaders are able to communicate a personal vision of purpose, values and identity. They have a story to tell, which is based upon ongoing self-reflection and self-awareness of the life experiences that have shaped them. “What’s Your Story?” is an interactive leadership development workshop led by Michelle Buck, Clinical Professor of Leadership, that will give you the opportunity to begin to identify and develop your own “Story,” or personal leadership narrative.
This workshop generates a foundation for the pre-work due for the Kellogg Leadership Immersion Retreat (LIR). It is highly recommended for students who are attending the LIR (but not limited to students who have registered for the LIR). It will equip you with greater confidence and competence in communicating your story of life experiences that shaped your values and identity as a leader. You will be very well-prepared to tell your own leadership narrative as part of your assignment for LIR.
