Ferris Hussein is a Partner focused on global infrastructure and energy opportunities. He is based in Washington, DC.
Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Hussein served as a Vice President at ExxonMobil, where he oversaw acquisition strategy. Prior to ExxonMobil, Mr. Hussein served as an attorney for the Republic of Iraq and, prior to that, for the US Department of Justice.
Mr. Hussein received his MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law, and a BA from the University of Michigan.
Mr. Hussein serves on the Board of Directors of Crescent Midstream, MVP Terminalling, Amp Energy, Elba Liquefaction Company, Riviera Gulf Holdings, DNO ASA (OSL:DNO), and Welligence Energy Analytics; and as a member of the Investment Committee for the American University of Beirut’s endowment. Mr. Hussein previously served on the Board of Directors of Seacor Marine Holdings (NYSE: SMHI) and ABANA.
