Join Investment Management Club for a small group dinner with Jared Lou, Emerging Markets Portfolio Manager at William Blair Investment Management! Similar to all prior IMC Small Group Dinners, the dinner will begin at 6:30 PM at the Capital Grille in Streeterville. All topics are welcome - Jared's thoughts on the current macroeconomic environment, his outlook on specific countries, specific companies, evaluation techniques, career paths, etc. The small group dinner follows Jared's in-person presentation at Wieboldt Hall Room 347 at 5:00 PM. Please attend Jared's presentation in-person, if at all possible, if you are attending the small group dinner. We look forward to seeing you! Please note that the $20 ticket fee is a deposit that will be added to KSA's event subsidy. Attendees should anticipate a day of contribution of ~$60.

Jared Lou, CFA, is a hard and local currency portfolio manager on the emerging markets debt (EMD) team at William Blair Investment Management. Before joining William Blair in 2020, he was a portfolio manager on NN Investment Partners’ EMD team, where he was responsible for Latin American hard currency sovereign and quasi-sovereign debt. Before joining NNIP in 2016, Jared was a sovereign analyst on Grantham, Mayo, van Otterloo’s EMD team. Previously, Jared worked in risk management at State Street Global Markets and quantitative research at Property and Portfolio Research. Jared received a B.A., cum laude, and M.A. in economics from Tulane University and an M.B.A. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Sloan School of Management.
