Why would you join a nonprofit board? How can you use your management and leadership skills to help organizations increase their impact and meet their missions more effectively? This session will help EW students better understand the key roles and responsibilities of board members of nonprofit organizations and the issues they face in growing and scaling their missions. Through lecture and discussion, participants will learn about what to look for in a nonprofit board, what skills to bring to the board and how good board members work collaboratively to solve complex societal issues.
