The seminar “Building a 10x MOIC or more” presented by Blue Frame Capital Partners demystifies how a search fund can achieve a double digit MOIC within a 5-year hold period and magnify that further using longer hold periods. Using real data, the session is presented in three sections: 1) Specific metrics analyzed to assess the likelihood an acquisition target can achieve a 10x+ MOIC, 2) An assessment of the value-creation levers presented by the acquisition target, and 3) Mathematically dissecting, in distinct building blocks, how the founders of Blue Frame achieved a 10x+ MOIC when they were searchers in the acquisition and sale of T-Base Communications Inc.
