NextGen Partners (NGP) will give students a practical look at entrepreneurship through acquisition (ETA) and the firm's approach to partnering with aspiring CEOs, with a direct focus on the accelerator model. The session will cover what NGP looks for in entrepreneurs, how candidates can prepare for an ETA path, and what the search and acquisition process looks like from the investor's side of the table.
The NGP team will also share opportunities to get involved with the firm. NGP runs a 10-week MBA internship program throughout the year, including a full-time summer term and part-time opportunities during the academic year. Interns work directly alongside NGP's CEOs-in-Residence as they develop investment theses, source businesses, and evaluate acquisition opportunities. NGP also recruits for its full-time CEO-in-Residence program for experienced professionals pursuing the ETA path.
