Bindu has been with Cummins for over 5 years and in the currently leading ERM (enterprise Risk Management). In her previous role as Cummins Generator Technologies (CGT) India Line of Business Leader, she was responsible for the overall revenue, market share and profitability of CGT India and the achievement of the CGT LoB key objectives. And, as such she was responsible for driving all key strategic initiatives across all lines of operation of CGT India.

In the past, she led the Strategy and Marketing functions for Distribution Business Unit (DBU) with in Cummins, where she has been instrumental in defining long term strategy for DBU, driving key growth initiatives and implementation of market aligned pricing strategy.

Prior to joining Cummins, Bindu was a project manager at Deloitte Consulting leading projects related to strategy and operational improvement with wide variety of clients in the Energy, Utilities and Mining sectors. Before Deloitte she worked for Ernst and Young for couple years. Apart from the consulting experience, she has also worked with the Oil & Gas major HPCL, in the area of logistics and supply chain management.

Personal Information

Bindu enjoys travelling and other outdoor activities such as trekking and paragliding. She pursues pencil sketching as a hobby and is also passionate about working with underprivileged children particularly in the area of education. She has a lovely 2 year old daughter with whom she lives in Indianapolis city.
