Lunch and learn with former Tesla executive who was one of the longest-tenured direct reports to Elon Musk. Joining the company as employee #51, Mr. O'Connell was instrumental in the creation of the Gigafactory, establishing the Panasonic partnership, and receiving a half a billion dollar government loan that many believe saved Tesla from going bankrupt. Discussion will focus on disruption of the automotive industry, the future of electrification, and the role of technology in the industry. Mr. O'Connell graduated Kellogg in 1996.This event is supported by the Exelon Seminar Series in Sustainability.
