Kim Pittel is group vice president, Sustainability, Environment & Safety Engineering, effective Jan. 1, 2017.
Serving as the companyÔÇÖs top environment and safety officer, she is responsible for the continued development and implementation of the companyÔÇÖs global environment and safety strategy, policy and performance, and FordÔÇÖs Blueprint for Sustainability.
Previously, Pittel was vice president, Sustainability, Environment & Safety Engineering, a position to which she was named to in January 2015 when she also was elected a Ford Motor Company officer.
Pittel began her career at Ford in 1985 and has held several key management and executive positions within Manufacturing, Product Development, Quality and Purchasing. This broad experience will enable her to drive the companyÔÇÖs sustainability commitment and actions even deeper in all areas of the business.
