Founder and CEO
Clorama Dorvilias is the Founder and CEO of Debias VR. Since 2015, she's been consumed by virtual reality both as a gamer and a researcher and developer in its capacity to impact social biases. She has an MA in Interaction Design Communication from University of the Arts London and has worked as a UX practitioner for start ups in the private and public sector. After completing her fellowship at Code for America in 2017, she won funding from Oculus Launch Pad to work on her pilot project "Teacher's Pet'' with co-creator Jessica Outlaw, a VR Behaviorial Researcher, that aims to mitigate bias in classroom education. A demo of "Teacher's Pet" will be available in the Oculus Store in the summer of 2018.
A graduate of Northwestern University’s Theater and Creative Writing for the Media programs, Logan is an award-winning playwright who has been published and produced internationally. In addition to producing interactive events like IndieCade and USC’s annual Interactive MFA Showcase, Logan served as Lead Tech Producer for Oculus/Facebook and helped launch the Oculus Rift Headset. Afterward, he instantiated Moving Picture Company’s Film VR division, which shipped PASSENGERS: AWAKENING and ALIEN COVENANT: IN UTERO broadly to all major VR platforms. Recently, he produced THE SURROGATE, a cinematic VR narrative that combines 360 video with an explorable, computer-generated environment. He is currently writing an immersive murder mystery series.

Neranjan is a VR/AR enthusiast and advocate who runs a site called CatsAndVR. Starting the site to learn more about Virtual Reality, he has been able to take his passion and demo VR to people ranging from Usher to Derek Carr. He has worked with the Oakland Raiders QB on a VR Football project while at RADD3. With over 7 years of experience in Video Game journalism for sites like Destructoid, GodIsAGeek, and AppTrigger, he is passionate about gaming in all forms. Neranjan has channeled his passion into working on his own personal VR projects as well as using his journalism skills to promote diversity in gaming. As a business development professional he has launched VR activations at the Super Bowl and has been quoted in outlets like Pocket Gamer and TechCrunch. Moving forward he wants help the VR ecosystem grow as he himself grows as a game developer.

Having originally trained as a playwright and director, Rebecca worked as a software engineer at Kickstarter before combining her skillsets in VR. Her recent work has been focused on bringing VR/AR to unexpected people and places. In her role as Technical Program Manager at Northwestern's Knight Lab, she oversees exploration into immersive technology's role in reshaping journalism, art, and storytelling. As a Mozilla TechSpeaker, Rebecca has hosted WebVR workshops on 3 continents in the past year. She is currently working with graduates of the Latino American Policy Forum Multicultural Leadership Academy on an AR application that highlights the history and culture of Pilsen and Bronzeville.
