In 2014, consumer goods giant Proctor & Gamble opened a new $300M manufacturing facility in Agbara, Ogun State, Nigeria. This move places a large bet by the company on Nigeria, and the emergence of the African consumer. What were the criteria that went into the investment decision, and what lessons from this investment can we apply to other firms looking to increase their emerging markets presence?

Aubrey Hruby will be joining us to answer these questions and more. Aubrey Hruby is a noted Africa Investment Advisor, who's successful work has spanned numerous industries including infrastructure, energy, agribusiness, financial services, and healthcare. She is a Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Center, and served as the Managing Director of the Whitaker Group, where she helped facilitate over $2 billion in investment and capital flows to Africa. She is also the author of "The Next Africa ", which will be available for signing following the event!

ADDED BONUS: We will be giving away a signed copy of Aubrey's book, "The Next Africa", to 5 attendees of the event. Sign up today!

Lunch will be served.
