Advice I'd give myself a year ago: Chill out. Recruiting will be fine. You will make friends. You will get involved in something you like. Take each challenge as they come but don't create them for yourself.

Advice I'd give to myself a year ago:
Step out of your comfort zone – there's so much to learn here during your year.

Why CIM Exec: I chose to join the CIM Exec Team because I wanted to be able to welcome the next 1Y class and help give them the best start to their Kellogg year.

Advice I'd give to myself a year ago: Say yes to as many things outside of your comfort zone as possible!

Advice I'd give to myself a year ago: Get organized quickly! So much is going on and planning requires looking a week or 2 ahead of time. Make sure you are doing what you want out of your Kellogg experience.
Ask me about: As a Chicago local, I'd love to talk about some of the events that you can plan for a group of Kellogg friends or some bucket list items.
Why CIM Exec: CIM is a critical start and sets a foundation for your Kellogg experience! I wanted to help the incoming 1Y's start their year great!

Advice I'd give to myself a year ago: Don't take 5 credits in one quarter. Don't wait for connections to just happen. Take control of your social interactions.
Ask me about: Sustainability Careers, Vegetarian food, Affordable social, being an international student, and being sober at B-school!
Why CIM Exec: To be able to welcome the next class of Kellogg leaders and ensure they have a *great* introduction to the Kellogg experience!

Advice I'd give to myself a year ago: 1) It is okay to say "no." 2) It is very important to stay true to who you are and to never compromise your values. 3) Figure out your rocks, sand, and pebbles. 4) The grass is always greener on the other side. Water the side you are on!

Why CIM Exec: I want to leave Kellogg better than I found it. Being on CIM exec helps me curate the experience for incoming students and help set a culture of Kellogg leaders who are there for each other through thick and thin. I also want to encourage under-represented minorities to be their authentic selves and not try to mold or code switch into someone they are not.

Why CIM Exec: CIM is where 'Culture is Made." As a Cultural Strategist that empowers brands to effectively reach their internal and external customers in nuanced, culturally intelligent ways, I care deeply about 'how' Culture Is Made. Being on CIM Exec would allow me to further explore strategies used to not only create culture but also manage culture. Thus, I look forward to being on the frontlines to entrench culture, cultural intelligence, and cultural equity in every aspect of the CIM experience!
