Blogs are silly...

I’ve always wondered who’s brave enough to post their casual observations and commentahttps://www.campusgroups.com/upload/9728_Sanity_1.jpgry for the world to see.  And better yet, who has the time to read them!

I’ve seen the to-do lists that women jot down during the slow moments of class and just catching a glimpse of all those action items exhausts me.  They go on for entire pages.  I want to run to the nearest Starbucks for a quick caffine boost, and those are only the items important and top of mind enough to warrant the interruption in focus on the lecture.  So to be frank, I’m not a blogger, nor do I want to be.  Let’s save each other the time.

But what I do aim to do in the months leading up the conference is a little due diligence on the conference topic, "How Does She Do It? -- Leading Across Work, Family, and the Globe."  In looking at our fascination with having it all, and the ways in which we try to come close, I don’t expect to find the secret answer to perfectly managing our increasingly demanding lives.  Honestly, it’s probably not out there.  But what I do hope to find and share with you are some of the more creative ways successful women today are keeping the balls in the air and maintaining their sanity.

Buckle up, this should be a fun adventure.
