The Lavin Bernick Executive Chat series gives Kellogg students an opportunity to engage with an esteemed executive or civic leader presenting his or her perspectives on leadership. The sessions are dialogue-driven, and informal, with a limited number of seats available at each session. They provide an intimate forum for in-depth conversations and student interaction.
SELECTION PROCESS
- This session is open to FT & EW Kellogg MBA students.
- Your registration indicates your interest to attend.
- 25 Attendees will be selected using a lottery system in accordance with event capacity.
- If randomly selected, you will be notified via email and required to re-confirm that you will attend within 24 hours.
- If you need to cancel your registration, please do so before registration closes
This chat will be held in-person at the Kellogg Global Hub. Once re-confirmed, selected students will receive room location details via an outlook invitation.

Lindsey Argalas is a growth-oriented Silicon Valley executive with 25+ years in global FinTech, SaaS, and Consumer companies. She has invested in, launched, and run businesses in US, Asia, Europe, and Latin America.
She currently serves as the CEO of TaxBit, the leading Silicon Valley VC-backed tax and accounting software company for enterprises and governments engaging with digital assets. Her focus in growing TaxBit is to enable compliant adoption of digital assets for the global economy.
Ms. Argalas previously served as Senior Executive Vice President, Chief Digital & Innovation Officer and member of the Executive Committee of Banco Santander, the largest bank in the Eurozone and one of the largest financial institutions in the world. During her tenure, she managed Santander’s multi-billion-euro Payments business and the Digital channel, comprising nearly half of Santander’s €50B revenues, driving transformation across 150M customers and ten countries. In addition, she led all Data/AI and Blockchain/Digital Asset efforts. As part of her remit, Lindsey created PagoNxt, the Payments technology company carved out from Santander and served as CEO of the Consumer business, overseeing P2P/P2M, international transfers, digital wallet, crypto and financial inclusion solutions.
Ms. Argalas chaired the Board of Mouro Capital, a $400M fintech venture capital fund. She has also served as a Senior Advisor to Plaid, a Non-Executive Director of Santander UK, a Board member of digital-only bank Openbank (the largest in Europe in terms of deposits), and a member of the World Economic Forum’s steering committee on Digital Currencies.
Before joining Santander, Lindsey was a Senior Vice President and C-suite member at Intuit, the leader in Tax and Accounting software, where she led Product, Engineering and Commercial teams. Prior to transitioning to Technology, Ms. Argalas was an expert in the Consumer & Retail practice of BCG.
Lindsey earned a Bachelor´s degree in international affairs and Spanish, magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from Duke University, where she sits on the Board of the Innovation & Entrepreneurship program. She earned a Master´s degree from Georgetown's School of Foreign Service where she also sits on the Board, as well as a Master´s in Business Administration from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern. She is fluent in English and Spanish and currently resides in San Francisco.
