The Kellogg Ice Hockey Club fields a semi-competitive program which participates in a local hockey league as well as other ice-hockey tournaments, such as the annual Tuck Hockey Tournament in Hanover, NH, the McArthur Cup hosted by the Harvard School of Business, and US National Pond Hockey Tournament in Minneapolis, MN.
Our Mission:
Our mission is to provide a team for all those in the Kellogg community who share a passion for hockey, to continue building on-ice skills, compete with local teams and opposing MBA programs, and positively represent the Kellogg brand with good sportsmanship and teamwork.
Who can play?
In addition to current Kellogg students, the club is open to professors, alumni and JV's. Although no previous ice hockey experience is required to play with the team, because the league is semi-competitive, we advise club members to master the fundamentals of ice skating before participating in a full-speed game. The team plays in a local men's league and has ~1 game a week.
What do you need?
Full equipment, including shoulder pads, is required, and strictly enforced. The club also requires a fee of ~$300 per player per season to cover ice time, league fees, Kellogg Jersey, and Kellogg socks.
