DAK is here again! For one weekend (either in February or in April), you will have the opportunity to come experience what makes Kellogg one of the best business schools in the world and how we, Joint Ventures, are proud to be alongside our students. This year, Joint Ventures is once again excited to see you and has organized various events for DAK 2012.
There are two dates to choose from:
Thursday, February 10 - Saturday, February 11, 2012
Thursday, April 19 - Saturday, April 21, 2012
Throughout the DAK weekend, Kellogg partners will have the opportunity to join their significant others for many of the planned events. Joint Ventures will also host its own special activities for partners. Attending DAK is a great way for partners to get their own questions answered about making the decision to come to Kellogg, or to help prepare for the big transition. You will have the opportunity to meet us and learn about our lives as Joint Ventures.

Travel Information
You should fly into either O'Hare International Airport (ORD) or Midway Airport (MDW) Thursday evening as events begin early Friday morning. O'Hare is approximately 45 minutes away from Kellogg; Midway is approximately 60 minutes from Kellogg. Most major airlines, both domestic and international, fly into O'Hare.
Taxi:
The following companies offer fixed rates for approximately $31 from O'Hare and $49-50 from Midway:
- Norshore Cab Company: 847-864-7500
- American Taxi: 847-255-9600
Call the above number(s) after you have picked up your luggage and tell them your location. You will be given a cab number (so you know which cab is yours) and that cab should arrive shortly. PLEASE NOTE: Flagging down any cab will be much more expensive. We recommend the use of these taxi services.
Most major rental car companies operate at both O'Hare and Midway. Parking will be available for both DAK weekends. More information on parking lot locations and directions are below.
Public Transportation:
The "El" is Chicago's rapid transit system that serves the greater Chicago area. The Evanston stops on the "El" closest to Kellogg are the Davis and Foster stops of the Purple Line. However, taking the "El" from the airport can take approximately 1.5 hours including transfers. Please visit the Chicago Transit Authority website, www.transitchicago.com, to plan your trip.
Pace:
Parking at O'Hare can cost up to $51 per day. Taking a taxi to Midway can cost an arm and a leg. However, you can get to the airport for just $1.75 each way, and have more cash for your trip!
Bags ride free! There are no luggage restrictions on Pace buses. If you're traveling with caged pets, they ride free as well. Start saving money that would be otherwise spent on driving and parking your car at the airport. Look for your Pace route map and schedule to help plan your trip.
Pace is the premier suburban transit provider, quickly moving people to work and school safely and efficiently. The backbone of Chicago's suburbs, Pace serves tens of thousands of daily riders with more fixed bus routes, vanpools and Dial-a-Ride programs. For more info about PACE go to http://www.pacebus.com/sub/schedules/bus_n_fly.asp
