Matthew Farver ’12, GLMA Co-President

Kellogg Major(s): Marketing Management, Management & Strategy
Hometown: Napa California
Undergraduate Institution: DukeUniversity
Other Kellogg Clubs: Net Impact, Marketing, Media & Entertainment, Cork & Screw
Matthew came to the Kellogg School of Management directly from the Broadway cast of Mamma Mia. After spending ten years as an actor and dancer in New York City, he hung up his tap shoes to take on the much more exciting world of business school. He spent three years as an advocate and fundraiser for Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and lobbied in Washington DC on behalf of the Lance Armstrong Foundation. He is thoroughly enjoying Kellogg, Chicago, and the Midwest with his partner Adam and their bulldog, Finnegan. Matthew loves California cabernets, running marathons, and Zoila the maid from “Flipping Out.”
Gino Luci ’12, GLMA Co-President

Kellogg Major(s): Marketing Management, Strategy
Hometown: New York, NY
Undergraduate Institution: University of Pennsylvania, 2004

Brand Manager, Three Olives Vodka
Prior to Kellogg, Gino was a marketer for Proximo Spirits and L’Oreal USA, where he worked on several consumer product brands including Three Olives Vodka, Lancôme and Kiehl’s Since 1851. He has a track record of making people very happy having developed amazing flavored vodkas and (not-so-miracle) anti-aging creams. At Kellogg, Gino plans to round out his cross-functional skills to become a more effective brand manager post-MBA, and develop new life-long friendships with his brilliant and dynamic classmates. His guilty pleasures include Real Housewives (all of them), greasy Chinese food and US Weekly.
Ryan Letcher ’12, GLMA Co-Chair, Professional Development

Kellogg Major(s): Marketing, Management & Strategy; MMM Program
Hometown: Chicago, Illinois
Undergraduate Institution: Northwestern University
Prior to Kellogg:
Deloitte
Ryan worked for Deloitte Consulting prior to Kellogg, serving clients primarily in the health care industry. He is returning to Northwestern, where he completed his undergraduate degree in engineering; he's relieved to know that's why 2nd-years keep referring to him as a "double-dipping" Kellogg student. As a lifelong Chicagoan, he loves summer in the city, but deeply understands the tradeoff in winter. Ryan also enjoys digital photography, cooking (preferably on a grill), and several network television shows he doesn't care to reveal via the internet.
Will Smythe ’12, GLMA Co-Chair, Prospective Students

Hometown: Park Ridge, Illinois
Undergraduate Institution: University of Pennsylvania
Prior to Kellogg:
Deloitte Consulting
Formerly a hydrogen fuel cell engineer, Will consulted for energy and defense clients before attending Kellogg. He enjoys ultimate frisbee and traveling the world with his classmates. His preferred superpower would be invisibility, but he'll just have to settle for supernatural charm and the ability to open soda cans with his feet.

A native Chicagoan, Jamie was born and raised in the suburbs, after which he spent some time away working and during undergrad. Jamie worked for a consulting firm in Chicago prior to Kellogg.
