Before the session, please watch this video overview of the Zell Fellows program. It covers key requirements and helps us make the most of our time together by focusing on what’s unique to the New Venture or ETA tracks which will be split into two rooms.
This live Q&A is designed specifically for students eligible and interested in applying for the 2025–26 Kellogg Zell Fellows Program. You'll have the opportunity to engage directly with program faculty, staff, and current Zell Fellows to better understand what it means to be a Zell Fellow and how the program supports your entrepreneurial path.
Please register based on the track you plan to pursue.
Links to the Virtual Attendance will be provided in advance of the event start date.
What is the Zell Fellows Program?
The Zell Fellows Program is a founder-focused, applied entrepreneurial experience for a select number of Kellogg MBA students with a passion for new business creation or business acquisition. The program combines resources, experiences, mentoring, and community to help students develop, launch, and grow their ventures or businesses.
The program includes two tailored tracks:
- New Venture – For founders working on launching a new business.
- ETA (Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition) – For entrepreneurs looking to acquire and grow an existing company.
Both tracks work in tandem across the academic year with joint programming that fosters community and track-specific tactical workshops relevant to your venture or search.
Eligibility:
You must be a full-time student in your final academic year (2Y, 1Y, MMM, JD-MBA, MD-MBA, MBAi, or E&W with full-year availability). Competitive applicants demonstrate a clear commitment to entrepreneurship:
- New Venture applicants should have identified a real problem to solve and, ideally, have traction with their solution.
- ETA track applicants should demonstrate a strong understanding of and dedication to the acquisition path.
