The Kellogg Arts and Culture Club will enhance the student body's experience at Kellogg through fostering non-academic social/networking opportunities while exposing the students to a wide range of cultural activities in Chicago.  As future business leaders, Kellogg students will also be future civic leaders.  It is important to instill cultural appreciation and the importance of civic involvement, and this club will provide valuable groundwork and exposure.  It will also offer additional leadership opportunities in various Event Coordinator positions.

The Arts and Culture Club is open to all students.  Possible events include: theatre (Goodman, Steppenwolf, Broadway in Chicago, etc), music (CSO, Jazz, Grant Park Orchestra, Opera), dance (Joffrey, Hubbard Street, River North), art (Art Institute, MCA), Museums (Field, MSI), a cooking class, and a wine tasting.  Ideally, there would be an additional component to the performance or exhibit including behind the scenes tours, talk-backs, “meet the artists,” etc.  Students would purchase tickets on a per event basis.
